新型コロナウィルス感染拡大の影響に伴いまして、2020年5月2・3日（土・日）に三重県鈴鹿市の鈴鹿ツインサーキットにて開催を予定しておりました「FORMULA DRIFT JAPAN 2020」のシリーズ開幕戦であります「Round.1 SUZUKA TWIN CIRCUIT」の延期を決定いたしました。
世界的な感染拡大により、来場者ならびに選手や関係者の皆様への感染リスクを可能な限り抑えることを第一と考えた次第です。
また、海外からの渡航規制などの世界情勢も踏まえまして、FORMULA DRIFT USAの審査員や海外選手の来日が現実的に困難な状況でもあり、運営側も含め出場選手やチームの皆様も万全の状態で開幕戦を迎えるのは難しい状況だと判断させていただきました。

Round.1 SUZUKA TWIN CIRCUIT
Postponement Announcement
Due to the concern of the new coronavirus, Round.1 of FORMULA DRIFT JAPAN 2020 at SUZUKA TWIN CIRCUIT in Mie Prefecture scheduled for May 2-3, 2020 will be postponed.
The new coronavirus has been expanding rapidly throughout the world and the safety of the fans, drivers, teams, and everyone involved is our utmost priority.
The increasing limitations for international travels are causing major difficulties for judges and staffs. The decision was made due to the fact that it will be extremely difficult to create an event at full potential for both the organizer and the participants.
The new scheduled date for the SUZUKA TWIN CIRCUIT round will be on December 12-13, 2020. Rest of the rounds of FORMULA DRIFT JAPAN 2020 will still be on schedule until further notice as we continue to monitor the global situation.

Venue: SUZUKA TWIN CIRCUIT (Mie Prefecture)
Due to the reschedule, this round will be the final round of FORMULA DRIFT JAPAN 2020.
The originally scheduled Round.2 EBISU CIRCUIT WEST COURSE on June 6-7, 2020 will now be the first round of FORMULA DRIFT JAPAN 2020 and the following rounds will be adjusted accordingly.

Round 2: August 1-2 (Sportsland Sugo)
Round 3: August 29-30 (Okuibuki Motorpark – Street)
Round 4: October 10-11 (Okayama International Circuit)
Round 5: December 12-13 (Suzuka Twin Circuit)
